Ok, so I’m sure you all know by now that self care is important.  I also hope that you’ve been practicing some self care the last 2 weeks.  The goal is to make one decision per day that made you “feel good” about yourself.

The other day I heard someone describe self care as something that energizes you.  I think this is a great way to think about it, because that’s exactly how I feel when I do something for myself.  Energized.  It can be physical or spiritual energy, but it adds a dimension to the definition of self care.

When you think of self care it should be: a decision that makes you feel good, energized, or centered.

This week I urge you to continue to make one decision a day for yourself, but make a few that include getting out of the house.  Getting out of the house, even it’s just for a short walk can do wonders.
